Tourmaline var. Elbaite, Muscovite, Quartz

This specimen displays a sharply terminated green tourmaline (elbaite), partially surrounded by muscovite clusters. The tourmaline has a dark green termination cap, and the surface is crazed by the expansion of quartz replacement within the core. The quartz psuedomorph is visible in several areas of the tourmaline shell.
